Nickelodeon Land to open at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, is delighted to announce the launch of Nickelodeon Land which will open at Britain's favourite tourist attraction in April 2011. Nickelodeon Land represents an investment of £10.3m.

This collaboration between Pleasure Beach, Blackpool and Nickelodeon, the number one entertainment brand for kids, will see a 6 acre area of Pleasure Beach transformed into Nickelodeon Land, which will feature 12 rides, 7 are brand new and 5 are extensively re-themed existing rides. Nick...

New Look Blackpool Tower

Once Merlin takes over, construction work will start on a new Dungeon attraction which is due to open next September, with a "Horrible Histories" theme based on the Witches of Pendle and Cromwell.

Merlin is also transforming Louis Tussauds into brand leader Madame Tussauds with waxwork figures remodelled for new displays heavily influenced by TV and "everyday heroes."

Promenade Work Progressing

Blackpool’s Promenade has been undergoing a transformation over the last four years and Blackpool Council is now geared up for the last push to transform the seafront forever promising the best is yet to come.
